Childcare bathroom leak and mould repair, Logan Reserve

In high-occupancy early learning environments, maintaining functional, sanitary amenities is absolutely critical. Facing an active leak that had led to rapid mould accumulation, this childcare facility required immediate intervention to protect the health of the children and prevent a total operational shutdown of their bathroom spaces.

To ensure the centre remained fully functional during standard hours, Fixed orchestrated an aggressive, non-stop weekend execution strategy. Our project management team rapidly mobilised multiple trades to work concurrently over a compressed 48-hour period. Starting late Friday, our team stripped out the contaminated wall linings, isolated and repaired the failed plumbing lines, and completed an extensive, certified mould remediation to ensure a completely safe and sterile environment.

Rebuilding the space on such a tight deadline required incredible supplier agility. Utilising our vast, long-standing network of trusted trade suppliers, we managed to have a custom stainless steel plumbing trough engineered, fabricated and delivered to the site on an unprecedented 24 hours’ notice. Our carpentry, plumbing and finishing teams worked through the weekend to integrate the new trough, replace the wall substrates, and complete all waterproofing and matching finishes.

True to the Fixed philosophy, the entire high-stakes project was completed with zero variations, zero hidden costs and absolutely no issues. By Monday morning, the facility’s director and staff walked into a beautifully reinstated, pristine bathroom, completely eliminating any disruption to the children’s daily routines.
