Ben Somerville is a Qualified Builder with over 25 years of building, construction and refurbishment experience in both commercial and residential sectors. Ben’s approach to customer service and the development of innovative building processes and practices has been fundamental to Fixed Group’s growth and success.
Ben has delivered successful projects for clients in Brisbane, Sydney, and Melbourne, and his breadth of experience in full refurbishment means that both your interior and exterior works are in good hands. Not only a highly skilled builder and carpenter, Ben understands the “business” of construction.
His expertise in managing budgets and timely procurement, and his strong project management skills ensure he truly understands his clients’ requirements.
Ben deals with all of Fixed Group’s clients directly, believing that this close contact ensures that client needs are clearly understood. He adopts this same approach with his own team, maintaining regular communication to ensure the end product is exactly as the client envisioned.
Bob brings a key combination of outstanding construction and senior management experience to the Fixed Group. He is responsible for the streamlined management of all operational aspects of the business, drawing on his depth of knowledge and hands-on experience as a Constructor for over 25 years.
Bob has held a number of Project management roles, both in Australia and overseas, and he has overseen Million dollar Renovations and developments in Victoria, NSW and Qld. His career has seen him deliver projects across residential aged care, medical, food & beverage sectors including multiple fit out projects in both domestic and international Airports.
The past 10 years have seen Bob specialise in the Aged Care, Retirement living and Medical sectors, and his business development skills have seen him secure high value developments resulting in outstanding growth. His ability to plan and manage live build sites is respected across the industry, as is his professional, client-focused approach. Bob is also an exceptional leader, building a strong team culture that drives excellent customer service and long lasting client relationships.
Rob is our resident imaging equipment installation specialist and joins the Fixed Medical team with almost unrivalled experience in his field. He has been at the forefront of mechanical installation for many years, and can proudly say that he installed the first Artis Zen Cath Labs in Australia and Turkey, as well as the First Definition Force CT in Australia. Rob is also a master of managing and delivering turnkey projects to clients in Australia and around the globe. He is also a licensed electrician in Australia.
Rob is generous with his time and experience and committed to the training and mentoring of our junior employees. This is a vital contribution to the Fixed Medical team, particularly as demand for our services grows and we extend the size and capability of our team.
We are yet to find a type of imaging equipment that Rob hasn't installed or is at least familiar with - and we plan to keep it this way.
Our Senior Project Manager Greg is a key asset for both the Fixed Group and for all the clients who experience his professional & highly capable approach. With a career spanning over 20 years he brings a wealth of experience and skills to the team. From new house construction to renovations and rectifications, plus specialised experience in the commercial, aged care and medical sectors, he has the knowledge and skills to understand the unique requirements of our clients.
Greg has numerous professional qualifications including a Cert III in Carpentry, Cert III in Water Proofing, and a Cert IV in Building & Construction. As well as being a Qualified Mechanic His Problem solving, attention to detail, client focus, reliability and professional approach are regularly acknowledged by our clients with whom he consistently develops strong relationships.
Geoff Veenbaas is our lead Building & Site Manager, with more than 15 years’ experience in the construction industry.
As Project Manager, Geoff oversees the project from beginning to end, managing the complex mix of staff, specialist sub-contractors, consultants and architects, all with the client’s project vision in mind. Attention to detail is key, along with an intimate knowledge of OHS&E policies and procedures.
Greg operates with a clear & professional client focus, and his extensive experience across all aspects of construction and project management ensure that all projects are completed on time, on budget, and to client standard.
Site Manager Tyler Mooney ensures each and every day runs smoothly for our clients.
From site entry to exit, Tyler’s keen eye oversees every detail. With experience in our refurbishment works Tyler is well known for his Ability to deliver multiple projects in the live site environment. His professional approach and outstanding client liaison qualities ensure that Fixed projects are managed seamlessly and to the complete satisfaction of our clients.
Tim has been an Estimator for over 6 years and combines these skills with his passion for getting the best possible outcome for a client. Prior to moving into estimating Tim was a civil engineer for 15 years, and his ability to truly understand the structure and execution of a project further enhances his estimating capabilities. Tim is experienced across a broad range of sectors including aged-care, retirement living, general construction, and all aspects of medical construction and installation.
